Your Diners Club Personal Card comes complete with an outstanding range of automatic insurance benefits to protect you from unforeseen travel expenses and provide extensive travel accident coverage.

When your common carrier ticket is charged in advance to your Diners Club Card, you will receive automatic and extensive Travel Accident Insurance coverage of up to $300,000 that begins the moment you leave for the airport, terminal or station by taxi, bus, train or airport limousine while travelling directly to or from your place of residence or travel destination.

In the case of an unforeseen flight delay of more than four hours for a covered reason, you will be reimbursed for reasonable meal and hotel accommodation expenses up to $500. To qualify for this coverage your airline ticket must be charged in full to your Diners Club Card

Should the airline you're flying with cause a baggage delay of more than six hours at a destination other than your return city or place of residence or during the final leg of your trip, you will be reimbursed for the emergency purchase of necessary clothing and personal care items up to $500. To qualify for this coverage your airline ticket must be charged in full to your Diners Club Card

Should your checked or carry-on luggage be lost, stolen or damaged, you will be reimbursed for a value of up to $1,000 that is not covered by any other insurance available to you. To qualify for this coverage your airline ticket must be charged in full to your Diners Club Card.

• Our automatic worldwide Collision, Loss and Damage Waiver (CDW) coverage can save you over $20 per rental day when you charge the full cost of your car rental to your Diners Club Card and decline the CDW offered by the rental agency.
• You are automatically covered for losses due to collision, fire, theft or vandalism of the rented vehicle up to its full value.
• Car Rental Collision, Loss and Damage Insurance is available worldwide except where prohibited by local law or agency practice.

When you charge the full cost of your rental to your Diners Club Card, both the driver and passengers are covered in case of accidental death or dismemberment as follows:

• Driver coverage up to $200,000
• Passenger coverage up to $100,000 per person, to a maximum of $400,000 for all passengers combined
• Total coverage limited to a maximum of $600,000 per accident, per vehicle

Most items purchased anywhere in the world are automatically insured against loss or damage for 90 days. In addition, the manufacturer's warranty on almost any item that you purchase automatically doubles for up to one additional year, with no registration required. To qualify for this coverage, purchases must be charged in full to your Diners Club Personal Card.
