Increase your air travel accident coverage at a nominal cost with optional travel accident insurance. Diners Club® Cardmembers can secure additional travel coverage with optional air travel accident insurance. For a low per trip fee, you can increase your coverage up to as much as $1,000,000 every time you charge the full cost of an airline ticket to your Diners Club Card. This program includes air and common carrier accident insurance during your business trip as long as you begin or end your trip with air passage. Optional air travel accident insurance not only covers both domestic and international travel, it also pays in addition to any other personal or organizational coverage that Corporate Cardmembers currently hold.

Optional Air Travel Accident Protection Covers Cardmembers:

While entering, exiting or riding as a passenger on any common carrier during a trip beginning or ending by air passage paid for with Diners Club Card. "Common carrier" means any land, air or water conveyance which is licensed to carry passengers for compensation or hire or reward and which undertake to carry all persons indifferently who may apply for passage, so long as there is room and there is no legal excuse for refusal. Coverage does not apply to rafting, ballooning, amusement park rides, ski lifts, jet skis and hang-gliding.
During the trip to or from the airport by common carrier provided the ticket was purchased in advance.
While on the premises of an airport or terminal before or after a flight.
During the flight itself.
