Car rental collision, loss and damage insurance

Whenever you charge the entire cost of the rental car to your Diners Club^® Corporate Card account, you automatically receive Primary worldwide rental car collision damage insurance at no extra charge.

Diners Club provides payment for covered damage to your rental car including loss due to collision, theft, fire and vandalism. To qualify for the coverage, decline the collision damage waiver (CDW) offered by the rental agency and charge the entire rental to your Diners Club Corporate Card.

To file a claim, you must contact the Claims Administrator within 48 hours of the damage or loss to request a claim form. Completed claim forms must be returned to the Claims Administrator within 30 days (from the date of the incident or loss) to qualify for consideration as a valid claim. Diners Club car rental insurance also covers free rentals earned through a Diners Club promotion and rentals of up to 48 consecutive days.

On those rare occasions outside of Canada when you are compelled to accept a rental agency's CDW insurance (due to local laws or agency practice), the Diners Club program will cover any deductible amount for which you are responsible.
