Extended Warranty Coverage

Extended Warranty benefits provide eligible items with double the period of warranty repair services to a maximum of one year, and provide the same protection afforded by the Original Manufacturer's Warranty. Benefits are available without registration to protect most items purchased new and charged to your account. Eligible items must be covered by an Original Manufacturer's Warranty of no longer than 5 years duration and benefits are subject to the Limitations & Exclusions conditions.

Zero Liability3

Get free protection from both theft and fraudulent use of your card. If your card is used without your authorization, you will not be liable if:

  • You did not contribute to the unauthorized use
  • You used reasonable care to safeguard your card and Personal Identification Number (PIN), and
  • You notified us by telephone within 24 hours after you learned of the loss, theft or misuse of your card , or after you suspected that someone else knows your PIN

If you don't meet these criteria, you will be liable for all charges incurred in connection with the unauthorized use.

Optional Insurance (Not available to residents of Quebec)

Year-End Summary Report

Get a helping hand with income tax preparation and budgeting for the year ahead. The Year-End Summary Report is a customized report providing an overview of your spending — totals by month are organized by major spending categories: airlines, lodging, car rentals, restaurants, gasoline, retail and other expenses. This valuable report can simplify your income taxes and assist with planning next year's cash flow. To qualify for a Year-End Summary Report, the yearly charges on your Diners Club® Card must reach $3,000. As well, your account must be open and in good standing in the month following the year-end.
